US ST Case 9 – Variable decelerations
Summary
30 year old G 1 P 0, Gest. week 40+4. Unremarkable pregnancy. SROM occurred 48 hours earlier, admitted with contractions. IV antibiotic given.
- 12:00 Epidural placed. SVE: Cx 5 cm dilated, 100% effaced, vx -1. Clear amniotic fluid noted.
- 12:34 ST Analysis initiated. Oxytocin infusion started.
- 16:45 SVE: Cx 7 cm dilated, 100 % effaced, vx at 0 station.
- 17:30 Oxytocin infusion decreased due to tachysystole. .
- 19:00 SVE:Cx 10 cm dilated, 100% effaced, vx +1. Waiting for the head to descend.
- 20:00 Active pushing started.
- 20:22 SVD Baby girl. Birth weight 3 440 g. Apgar Score 8/9/10.
