Fetal ST analysis License

A Stan S41 monitor with the ST license enabled provides the function of fetal ST analysis, which is to be used from gestation week 36+0. ST analysis is made up of a number of parameters that work in unison to continually analyze and detect changes in the fetal ECG waveform. ST analysis automatically detects and alerts changes that are related to the anaerobic metabolism in the heart (ST event). Working in parallel with the information from the fetal heart rate, ST analysis adds valuable information about the fetal status.

The combination of ST analysis and standard CTG parameters provides extended information about the fetus’s stress levels during labor and helps clinicians detect early signs of hypoxia. To make the most out of the ST analysis, clinical education in physiology-based CTG interpretation and the full clinical picture is required.

Activate ST License on your monitor

To activate the ST License, a few prerequisites need to be met:

  • Stan S41 monitor equipped with the factory installed internal fetal monitoring function
  • Goldtrace Fetal Spiral Electrode, which is made out of materials with excellent properties to secure best possible signal quality for both CTG and ST analysis registration.
  • FECG Legplate Adapter for Neoventa
  • Skin Electrode for FECG

CMS with ST

There are several central monitoring systems that have full ST integration, best suited for ST data presentation. Read more about them here.
