CTG Masterclass Advanced is a course aimed to get further understanding of Fetal Response to Stress, Types of Intrapartum Hypoxia, addressing Situational Awareness and Human Factors.
The overall aim is to implement fetal physiology & CTG interpretation into your delivery suite to get healthier babies, reduce unnecessary interventions and increase your motivation for a better working environment.
Prerequisites:
The participant must have undertaken the Basic CTG Masterclass to take full advantage of the Advanced course.
The topics covered in the course are:
- Evolving intrapartum hypoxia: Illustrative case discussion
- Fetal physiological responses to hypoxic stress: Let’s get our bearings right!
- CTG interpretation during second stage of labor
- How to use the CTG in meconium & chorioamnionitis
- Non-hypoxic causes of fetal compromise: what does the CTG show?
- Case discussions
- Q&A Sessions
You will receive the final program, more information and the link to the course two days prior to the course.
