ST Case 4 – Arousals
Summary
A 32 year old G1 at P 0. Gest.week 39+3 admitted to hospital in spontaneous labor. VE on admission: Cx fully effaced, 5 cm dilated, vertex at the spines. Normal pregnancy. External CTG tracing normal on admission.
- 11.20 ARM with clear fluid. FSE applied. ST Analysis inititated.

- 14.15 Patient feels a strong urge to push. VE : Cx fully dilated, vx +1.

- 16:25 Spontaneous vaginal delivery. Babyboy 3 740 g. Apgar 9,10,10.

Comment
ST Event on a normal CTG trace is carried out according to the STAN Guidelines. If there is a Normal CTG and ST Events, the STAN Guidelines recommend expectant management and continued observation.
